This role partners with senior Corporate Bankers to support relationship management, credit structuring, transaction execution, and the delivery of integrated banking solutions for public, private, and sponsor-backed companies with revenues of $500 million and above, with a strategic focus on the $500 million to $2 billion segment. This role is focused on supporting ongoing client coverage, and coordinated product delivery across lending, treasury management, capital markets, and risk management.</p><p></p><p>The Diversified Industries group is an industry-agnostic, geographically segmented platform that partners closely across lending, treasury management, capital markets, investment banking, and risk management to deliver comprehensive financial solutions. Associates are expected to combine strong financial analytics with client-facing execution skills and active contribution to origination and relationship development efforts.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Supports senior Corporate Bankers in the origination, structuring, and execution of credit, capital markets, and advisory transactions, including bilateral and syndicated financings, bridge facilities, and other complex corporate solutions </span></p></li><li><p><span>Develops and delivers client and prospect pitch materials, including company overviews, industry insights, financing alternatives, capital structure recommendations, and return analyses </span></p></li><li><p><span>Builds and maintains detailed financial analyses, including cash flow models, debt capacity and leverage analysis, valuation frameworks, and comparable company and transaction analysis </span></p></li><li><p><span>Assists in leading transaction processes, coordinating internal deal teams, and partnering with product specialists across Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Risk, and Credit Products groups</span></p></li><li><p><span>Participates in client meetings, due diligence sessions, management presentations, and negotiations, progressively assuming greater responsibility in relationship management and execution </span></p></li><li><p><span>Prepares and reviews internal credit approval materials, including business risk assessments, repayment analysis, and return metrics, ensuring alignment with risk policy and regulatory standards </span></p></li><li><p><span>Supports ongoing portfolio monitoring and client coverage, identifying opportunities for relationship expansion, cross‑selling, and balance sheet optimization </span></p></li><li><p><span>Contributes to business development initiatives, pipeline management, and market intelligence efforts within the Diversified Industries platform </span></p></li><li><p><span>Supports senior bankers in relationship responsibilities, including idea generation and interactions with current and prospective clients</span></p></li><li><p><span>Understands client needs and identifies Regions' products and services, or other actionable ideas, to help clients achieve goals</span></p></li><li><p><span>Participates in the recruitment, development, training, and oversight of junior associates</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. </p><p></p><p>This position is incentive eligible.</p><p></p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree with a proven record of high achievement and coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field</p></li><li><p>Two (2) years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, Commercial Banking, or related corporate financial roles</p></li><li><p>Prior completion of a credit training program</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Certifications/Licensures</b></p><ul><li><p>Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 79 and 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain both within six (6) months of employment</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferences</b></p><ul><li><p>Master of Business Administration (MBA)</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or leveraged finance</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills and Competencies</b></p><ul><li><p>Ability to collaborate effectively across product partners and internal stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated client-facing communication skills</p></li><li><p>High level of attention to detail</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Strong foundation in corporate finance, accounting, credit analysis, and financial modeling, with the ability to synthesize complex information into client-ready materials</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational skills</p></li><li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills</p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>This (1) position will require daily, on-site attendance at our Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, or Atlanta, GA office.</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Compensation Details</b></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
