Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring all items are secured for transport.
  • Operate a pallet jack and forklift as needed to facilitate the movement of products.
  • Follow designated routes for delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies in orders.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assist with moving items as necessary within the warehouse or delivery locations.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is essential.
  • Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
  • Skills in using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts are advantageous.
  • A strong background in customer service will enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
