ABOUT OUR COMPANY:
Fluency Corp is a privately-owned group of talented language coaches/teachers that want to take English-language teaching/executive language coaching to a new level.

We not only teach our students English through relevant, interesting conversation (as we all learned our first language!), but we motivate them to keep learning by communicating with others in the community, and trying new ways to learn that truly boost fluency like TV and making friends. We also give highly customized lessons based on the client's job and interests.
We are serious about our jobs and care deeply about our students.
What we are looking for: energetic, passionate instructors that can engage professionals in relevant, effective pronunciation lessons. Not only through tongue placement and shaping the mouth, but by deeper realizations like the psychology around accent, pronunciation, and the great benefits from simply speaking more slowly. Also, helping adults understand tricks that can help them be more easily understood - apart from just 'accent'.
During the interview you will be asked to discuss your specific methods, books, techniques for helping make client's communication more easily understood. Specifically for certain countries, like Japan, France, China, India, and more.
You must :
- have 5+ years teaching SPECIFICALLY English to adults as private clients or small groups at a company, professional lessons, and at least 2 years using your accent work method/program with clients in order to tell us feedback you’ve been given- ability to assess your client's needs/goals during first week of lessons, and decide on a plan of action- be able to fill out a goals form and quarterly progress reports- decide on material/curriculum based on weekly needs of executive clients- be always on time (preferably early)- be able to assess the student and find out what is most important and relevant for the lessons
- have theories and methods for how to improve overall communication specific to pronunciation
- have methods and program to understand their specific needs for their job (work on a presentation, ask about the negotiations they’re doing and how to help them prepare for them, work on the conversations they’ll be having that week, so that every lesson is RELEVANT).
All materials and books provided that you need for the client, but you choose what is relevant for the client. We have a suggestion list as well.
