The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role in shaping strategy, driving disciplined execution, and providing clear financial insight across Core Payments products, regions, and customers.<br><br>This Manager role offers the opportunity to work directly on product economics, growth initiatives, and investment trade offs across one of the company’s most critical businesses - combining enterprise rigor with forward looking, product driven insights.<br><br>You will move beyond managing the process to shaping the story, influencing decisions, and helping leadership.<br><br>Role<br><br>The Manager, FP&A – Core Payments will support end to end financial leadership across planning, performance management, and strategic decision support, including:<br>• Lead month end and quarter end close and performance reviews for Core Payments, delivering insightful variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior year, with a clear focus on product, volume, pricing, and mix drivers.<br>• Partner with product, regional, and finance leadership to support the annual plan, rolling forecasts, and long range planning cycles, translating strategic priorities into meaningful financial outcomes and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.<br>• Own Core Payments financial submissions within enterprise planning tools (e.g., Hyperion), ensuring data integrity, alignment across stakeholders, and compliance with corporate requirements.<br>• Develop and enhance executive ready reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs that provide transparency into revenue, growth initiatives, margin performance, and execution progress across the Core Payments portfolio.<br>• Provide forward looking financial analytics, scenario modeling, and investment analysis to support product roadmaps, growth initiatives, pricing decisions, and capital allocation discussions.<br>• Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities, quantify impacts, and partner with business leaders to drive mitigation or upside actions, ensuring strong accountability and follow through.<br>• Apply a strong understanding of Core Payments business models, economics, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic trade offs across products, customers, and regions.<br>• Raise the bar on FP&A by improving tools, data, and processes—simplifying where possible, automating where it matters, and improving insight quality and speed for senior stakeholders. <br>• Lead and contribute to high visibility ad hoc analyses and cross functional initiatives tied to Core Payments strategy, execution, and transformation. <br>• Mentor junior team members and model strong analytical judgment, strategic thinking, and executive level communication.<br><br>All About You<br><br>• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; CPA, Chartered Accountant or MBA preferred. <br>• Strong FP&A or business finance experience within a large, matrixed, global organization. <br>• Demonstrated success supporting planning, forecasting, and performance management at a product or business unit level. <br>• Experience with enterprise financial systems and analytics tools (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle, BI platforms). <br>• Highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable turning data into insight and action. <br>• Confident communicator with the credibility and judgment to engage senior leaders. <br>• Able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards for accuracy, clarity, and impact.<h3></h3><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
