Are you an experienced operations control specialist with a passion for aviation and long-haul flying?

We are seeking a strong team player with exceptional leadership skills to join our Operations Control Center (OCC) as an Operations Controller, with the exciting opportunity to advance to Shift Manager. In this key role, you\\\'ll lead the safe and efficient execution of Norse\\\'s long-haul flights, working closely with flight planning, maintenance control, crew control, passenger care, and other critical stakeholders. Step into the dynamic world of long-haul OCC in the Baltics.

This position operates in shifts, ensuring 24/7/365 global operations. Position is located in Riga, Latvia and is a full-time office position.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Oversight and supervision of all Norse flights;
  • Monitoring of weather, NOTAMs, SLOTS, technical situation, security, and other items that may affect the flights and take necessary action;
  • Coordination with flight planning team to ensure preparation and management of operational and ATC flight plans;
  • Management of flight irregularities and disruptions;
  • Coordination and leading other teams of OCC on shift;
  • Coordination with flight crew and other departments;
  • Coordination and arrangement of services with external partners (ground handling, fuel providers, airports, etc.);
  • Coordinate with ACMI partners;
  • Participate in emergency response.

Required qualifications and certifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in OCC environment as an operations controller, duty manager or similar;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools;
  • Quick learner with the ability to use airline operations software effectively;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • High adaptability to problem-solving skills;
  • Resilient under pressure, with the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities effectively.
