Since launching, Brisk has experienced rapid growth. Over 2 million teachers use our platform, and we partner with districts and schools nationwide to transform how educators teach and how students learn.

We're backed by leading venture and edtech investors including Bessemer Venture Partners (Shopify, LinkedIn, Anthropic, Perplexity) and Owl Ventures (Newsela, Quizlet, MasterClass), with a team spanning top AI companies and real classroom experience.

We're a fast-moving, collaborative team driven by a shared commitment to educator impact and product excellence. Our values—urgency, ownership, and focus—shape how we build and who we are.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Brisk is one of the fastest-growing companies in education — reaching millions of teachers every day. Our social presence is creative, community-driven, and built to drive us closer to company goals. We're looking for a social powerhouse to help us make the most of it.

Working closely with Brisk's Brand and Social Lead, you’ll help keep Brisk’s online presence organized, active, and on-brand - with a heavy focus on X (Twitter) and LinkedIn, plus support across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

You'll manage the social calendar, create and schedule content, and keep things moving. You’ll also spend time engaging directly with the Brisk community - teachers, creators, and edtech partners - responding to trends, mentions, and conversations in real time.

As our Social Media Contractor, you'll help execute social strategy, support influencer campaigns, and make sure every post and reply builds community in an ever-changing social media space.

This is a part-time contractor role (~20 hours/week,~5 days/week, ~4 hours/day + occasional weekend sweep coverage), ideal for someone sharp, self-directed, and who lives and breathes social - someone who is detail-oriented and a creative out of the box thinker.

YOU WILL:

  • Create, write, and schedule content across Brisk's social platforms — with a strong focus on X and LinkedIn, plus support across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

  • Engage daily with the Brisk community, matching each platform's tone to keep our brand voice distinct, human, and recognizable.

  • Partner closely with Brisk's Brand and Social Lead to execute social strategy, maintain momentum, and reflect Brisk's evolving story.

  • Support influencer campaigns — communicating with creators, coordinating timelines, and tracking content and spend.

  • Brainstorm and produce creative content (memes, short videos, threads, graphics) tied to campaigns, launches, and cultural moments.

  • Track performance metrics, surface insights, and bring data-informed recommendations to the table.

  • Provide real-time social coverage during campaigns, product launches, and events.

  • Stay plugged into social trends, creator culture, and platform updates to keep Brisk's presence sharp and current.

YOU HAVE:

  • 1–3 years of experience managing social media for a brand, creator, or organization — and strong examples to show for it.

  • Strong writing instincts: you're fast, you're witty, and you can shift tone across platforms without losing the thread.

  • Creative range: you can spot a trend early and know when to let one pass.

  • Experience maintaining a social content calendar across multiple platforms simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools (Sprout Social, native platform managers, or similar).

  • Canva experience (Figma experience is nice to have, too!)

  • Clear, proactive communication - you flag early, follow through, and keep collaborators in the loop.

  • A genuine interest in education, teachers, or the creator space.

BONUS:

  • Experience in EdTech, education, or creator-driven brands.

  • Video editing or graphic design skills for social-ready content.

  • Hands-on familiarity with Brisk — you've used the extension or know the teacher community.
