Sr. National Account Manager, Food & Drug (Kroger/Meijer) – Personal Health

Lead strategy, growth, and executive partnerships for key national accounts—driving profitable revenue, customer satisfaction, and cross-functional delivery excellence.

Your role:

  • Set the strategic direction and account plans for Kroger, Meijer and other retailers, aligning to company objectives to maximize long-term revenue, growth, and retention.
  • Build and sustain executive-level relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to enable mutual success and innovation.
  • Lead complex, large-scale initiatives and contract negotiations, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Use market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities to expand share, strengthen the value proposition per company policies and key performance indicators.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and solutions to key accounts, coordinating efforts across sales, marketing, product development, and customer delivery.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of experience with a Master’s degree, in account management, client relationship management, partner sales operations, sales operations, business development, or equivalent.
  • Your skills include strategic planning, sales acumen, business development, account management and account strategy, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), market research and analysis, data analysis and interpretation, stakeholder management, proposal development, and sales forecasting; knowledge of regulatory compliance is a plus.
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
  • You’re an independent, self-directed account leader who can influence at the executive level and drive alignment across cross-functional partners; CPG and Kroger account management experience is preferred. You thrive in a high-pressure sales environment and bring a highly analytical, data-driven approach to delivering sales targets; experience in personal health products and/or medical devices is preferred.
  • While this role may be performed remotely in the US, preference will be given to candidates based in Cincinnati or Michigan.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $145,500 to $156,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cincinnati, OH or Detroit, MI.
