In this role, you will provide product teams with architecture expertise, develop architecture and design guidelines for end-to-end solutions, and provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to other Solution Architects and product team members. You will lead the Solutions Architecture team to develop and maintain an enterprise architecture library used to solve business challenges. Additionally, you will contribute thought leadership to the Solutions Architecture community of practice. The Solutions Architect III will foster technology innovation, identify opportunities for technical efficiencies, create or modify best practices, and communicate those to the appropriate technical stakeholders. What You'll Get to Do: Provide Architecture guidance to product teams using existing designs or patterns and provide deep SME knowledge across multiple solutions. Lead the SA Team on the roadmap, maintenance, and upkeep of the Architecture Design Framework to be used as a building block for all ARC Product Solution designs. Mentor technical resources and communicate architectural design progress across business and technical senior leadership. Partner with Product Owners, business SMEs and Engineering Leads to analyze the business need and provide guidance on highly complex solution options and trade-offs. Ensure the overall Architecture Framework is aligned with and anticipates the business needs to drive acceleration of ARC Product development. Lead and organize the process for creation and modifications of reusable designs consumable by ARC’s Product suite. Identify and engage technical resources to contribute to the architectural blueprint. Identify and drive technical efficiencies across the entire ARC Product portfolio, lead SA team in the creation and modification of best practices in design and delivery of product features and capabilities through thought leadership or emerging technologies and communicate them to Business and Technical Leadership. Ensure overall solutions are consistent with ARC architecture and design standards. Stay current with the latest tools, industry trends, technology ideas, patterns and methodologies that are enterprise in scope and have broad impact to the business ; share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key stakeholders and senior / executive leadership. Assess and monitor the high level technical aspects of all solutions across ARC's entire Product Portfolio. Ensure that POCs are aligned with architecture stakeholders and meet the appropriate technical architecture for each phase of the process and that the solution is built to meet ARC’s at-scale production requirements. You'll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 4+ years of application programming and/or hands‑on technical architecture experience. 4+ years of experience implementing modern application and infrastructure design patterns, including micro‑services and containers, disposable, reactive, event‑driven, stateless and distributed patterns. 4+ years of experience with full cycle application development (Full SDLC experience: design, development, delivery, etc.) 4+ years with Agile, Cloud Service Models, DevOps and CI/CD. Solid understanding of architectural principles of cloud‑based platforms (AWS preferred) including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy and multi‑tiered infrastructure. Ability to discover and define functional requirements that map to business need and to transform them into technical requirements and architecture definition. Proven ability to lead and mentor a multi‑disciplined (full stack) technical team through an architectural development process using agile methodologies and collaborate with business and other constituents. Demonstrated capability to influence technology strategy and best practices across peer and leadership groups that support an agile apid development culture. Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences. Strong intellectual curiosity to challenge what exists and explore what should be changed to best meet evolving business and market. Other cloud‑based tools / platform experience a plus but not required: Snowflake, Salesforce, OKTA, Datadog, Cloudflare, Lucidchart. Work experience in the air travel industry a plus.
