Common Room is an AI platform that equips teams with agents powered by comprehensive buyer intelligence, consolidating signals into a dynamic, person-specific view. This enables teams to identify targets, craft tailored messages, and determine optimal engagement timing.

In this role, you will act as a product expert and trusted advisor, transforming client needs into actionable solutions. Partnering with Account Executives, you’ll conduct detailed discovery of goals, technical needs, data, and success metrics.

You’ll also collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure seamless transitions. This role suits individuals who prioritize solutions, embrace continuous learning, and focus on driving impactful customer outcomes.

About the Team:

The Solutions Engineering team collaborates with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to assist customers in understanding, evaluating, and adopting Zoom's platform, including Common Room.

Team members bring advanced technical knowledge and a consultative mindset to conduct product demonstrations, design solutions, and guide customers through detailed evaluations for optimal alignment.

This group values curiosity, teamwork, and translating innovative technology into impactful business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the product specialist and reliable technical advisor during the entire sales cycle.
  • Translating customer challenges into concise, outcome-focused solution designs aligning effectively with Common Room's available capabilities.
  • Leading tailored demonstrations, in-depth technical explorations, and pilot initiatives to confirm alignment with requirements and demonstrate value effectively.
  • Designing solution approaches that include data ingestion, enrichment, identity resolution, automation, and system integrations.
  • Aligning stakeholders on what Common Room will address and clarifying limitations, establishing clear expectations before agreements are finalized.
  • Bringing customer insights and field input to Product and Engineering leadership to shape the roadmap, positioning, and sales strategies.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–4+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales within B2B SaaS, impacting revenue through POCs, pilots, or evaluations.
  • Ability to support intricate, multi-stakeholder agreements within growth, commercial, or mid-market sectors without compromising efficiency or collaboration.
  • Demonstrate expertise in contemporary CRM platforms and related ecosystems, such as Salesforce and HubSpot, while addressing integrations, APIs, webhooks, JSON, and system compatibility.
  • Translate technical details into clear business value for non-technical audiences and lead technical discussions with practitioners, operators, and executives effectively.
  • Bring organization, proactivity, and adaptability to manage multiple deals effectively, maintaining resilience when complexities arise, requirements change, or timelines shift.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$131,200.00

Maximum:

$262,400.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
