Utilize advanced law enforcement skills and training to effectively handle various situations and incidents. Conduct thorough and accurate investigations into criminal activities at the airport. Collaborate with airport and local law enforcement agencies to ensure coordination and effective response to emergencies and incidents. Enforce federal, state, and local laws and regulations at the airport. Conduct patrols and monitor airport premises to identify and prevent potential security threats. Interact and communicate with passengers, airport staff, and other individuals in a professional and courteous manner. Provide assistance and support to airport visitors, including travelers with special needs. Respond to and assist with medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary. Maintain accurate and timely reports and documentation related to incidents, investigations, and activities. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and stay updated on airport security protocols and procedures. Serve as a role model for other team members and uphold the values and standards of the City of Los Angeles and the Airport Police Department.
